fast cars, budoy, and that lame purple villain

the truth is that i didn't pay much attention to the movie's other elements (camera work, music, script, cars...). and i think i have (and want) to watch it all over again as i was mostly distracted by that smooth bald head, set of puppy eyes, and big man lips that belong to the divine vin diesel. even those biceps were quite nice to take as something chunky—er, comfy!—and warm to rest my freezing head on (it was strangely icy-cold in the theaters today).

on the parts i wasn't dreamily sighing in my seat, though, i was enjoying the brand of action unique of the "fast and furious" films. and this 1's ending has left me smiling from ear to ear and asking for more. so they better make a sequel... and with vin diesel in it! hehe.

waiting in line to buy a ticket to see "monsters vs aliens" next, i realized the man in turban standing next to me was definitely some1 i've heard of in the radio and seen on tv. starstruck, i started saying hi and telling junior kilat's budoy how many people i know love their band's reggae.

he was kind and let me take a quick pic with him to show my family who used to watch his local tv show "small time". he even introduced his friend and gave me his really cool calling card for gigs. i love him already!

isn't that peace sign a winner? haha... this blob was the only character i liked in pixar's newest animation (and like me, he loves food! yay!). at least he's cute and funny compared to those annoying humans, ugly monsters (if your audience is below 12 or feels 12, those monsters ought to be cute or, at least, likable), and that corny purple alien.

clearly i didn't enjoy "monsters vs aliens" as much as i enjoyed seeing muscles—cars and vin diesel's! haha. i don't know if it was just me or if the movie was really boring even with all the advanced 3D thing.

I loved Monsters vs Aliens. I thought it was really fun - but then again, I am a just a 43 year old kid. Mind you, Jason (who is 7) didn't like it that much. But I laughed.
