burglar? sleepwalker? visiting vampire?

here i am in the kitchen this hour of night, finishing a warm bowl of baby cereal—the only food my overdramatic mouth sore will let me enjoy today. after being roused just as i was about to truly doze off an hour ago, i'm now unable to fall asleep. since i'm wide awake anyway, i better do something more "productive" than couting sheep.

earlier in bed and so out of the blue, i heard the unmistakeable sound of the front door locks unlock. some moments later, the loud metal gate was being opened. something weird was happening and i wasn't dreaming.

imagining a burglary or some1 sleepwalking into the street, i rolled out of bed; slipped out of my room; and checked on my mom and younger siblings. i found that 1 of my sisters was missing...

with a history of peeing in a trash can while sleepwalking once, however, i assumed her zombie days are back. but, then, not really...

the front door was slightly open. it was creepy how a little chilly breeze was entering the quiet house. sticking my head out the door, i called out to my sister while searching the darkness and freezing in my night dress. out of nowhere she appeared in my face, but not sleepwalking in the short lounge dress she wore under a big shirt.

"what's going on?" i asked, yawning a fake yawn. after all the building suspense i rolled out of bed for, she explained her boyfriend (who i mistook for a plant as it was so dark outside) decided to come by from a party to see her (did he use light from a cellphone? haha!). how odd, i thought to myself, and invited them in as it's safer inside. but they said he was already going, which made everything not make any sense to me.

so here i am with baby food and a blog entry, unsuccessfully falling back asleep and contemplating why any1 would wanna wake up or visit some1 living up a hill past midnight. don't you think it's just not normal to do that? unless that "any1" is a vampire named edward, i'd understand and maybe think it's romantic. haha.

really, i don't know what to make of it all. it was weird... my sister has strange friends.

She probably thinks it is romantic. In reality (at least my reality), it is pretty silly and potentially dangerous.

As anonymous said: "young hormones in action".

Of course, maybe my problem is that I didn't have hormones when I was younger. Sometimes I wonder if I missed anything.
